7:00 PM - 8:30 PM333 Cortland AveJoin us at the Considering God Salon on July 10th at 7 pm. We'll be discussing "Traditions to Pass Down, Traditions to Leave Behind", a topic arising from our Non-theistic Shabbat in April. Please RSVP as space at Cortland Ave is limited and we reached our limit last time.
For over 12 years, member-led discussions intimately explore our range of views about God, including secularism/atheism, spirituality, meaningful prayer, language and metaphor, the role of women in Judaism, beliefs about the “soul,” Jewish heretics, death, and more. Our Salons deepen our connection to Judaism and to each other.
*This event is currently planned to be held in our new building, which requires climbing 21 steps to access. If you are interested in attending this service, and this poses a barrier to entry for you, please reach out to Rabbi Faryn at rabbifaryn@orshalomsf.org
