This class will be held on Zoom to make it more accessible to a wide array of students. If you know of anyone who would take the class now that it is on Zoom, please tell them to register! If having the class on Zoom poses any barrier to you, don't hesitate to reach out to R'Faryn or Amy Mallor.

Learn how to decode the Alef-Bet with our guest teacher, Elizheva Hurvich! In this class, you will learn the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet, as well as the vowel system. You will also get a brief glimpse into both the grammatical and mystical structure of the Hebrew language.

The Lay Leadership Empowerment Institute is a school within Or Shalom intended to empower lay leaders within our community to feel more confident not only engaging in Jewish practice, but facilitating it. We will bring in various outside educators with different specialties to help round out our community’s learning.

Please note that for series through the training institute, will ask for a sliding scale donation of $18-$180/series in order to fairly compensate our outside educator.
