Pesach Shabbat Morning Service
Saturday, April 19, 2025 • 21 Nisan 5785
10:00 AM - 1:30 PM331 Cortland AveJoin Rabbi Faryn for intimate Shabbat morning services, where we will sing, pray, read from the Torah and learn together. For this special Shabbat of Pesach, we will return to the story of the Exodus, and learn about the special way we are instructed to read Shirat Hayam—the Song of the Sea—the song the Israelites sang after they crossed the sea from constriction to liberation.
Additionally, in the spirit of the holiday, we will have the opportunity to learn about and chant Hallel—songs of praise and joy chanted on holidays and new moons. If Hallel is new to you, this is the perfect opportunity to begin learning it and getting it into your body!
Bring a Kosher for Pesach vegetarian dish and reusable dishware for our post-service vegetarian potluck 12:30 – 1:30 pm.
❗Note: After services, join the Bernal Heights Earth Day Stroll scheduled to go until 3 PM.
⚠️ Food Disclaimer: To ensure inclusivity and accommodate dietary needs, all potluck dishes must be accompanied by a full list of ingredients.
