We have flexible options for financial dues—pay all at once or in installments. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Benefits include: Holy Passes for the High Holy Days, Discounts & Priority Registration for Or Shalom events and programs, Access to our Rabbi’s services for your most meaningful life-cycle events—weddings, naming ceremonies, mikvahs, funerals, and shiva officiation, to name a few.
MEMBERSHIP LEVELS
SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP: $300/month or $3,600/year
With our current number of households, this amount is the actual investment per household needed to operate Or Shalom Jewish Community—our building, Shabbat services, music, family programs, social action efforts, staff, social media, and more. We are deeply grateful for your donation, which sustains everything we do and ensures the continued success of our community.
FAMILY MEMBERSHIP: $200/month or $2,400/year
In Or Shalom's beginnings, our founding rabbi taught classes for children in members’ living rooms. Revolutionary at the time, our community's principle was that attendance should be a child’s free choice. Join our community of families, who are committed to deep mutual acceptance, progressive values, the spirit of questioning, and a dynamic balance of tradition and innovation.
COUPLE MEMBERSHIP: $150/month or $1,800/year
For you and your partner to join us, together. We do not require anyone to convert in order to become a member of Or Shalom. Our members come from all walks of life: Jewish, non-Jewish, and “it’s complicated,” single, married, and “it’s complicated,” old, young, and in-between, LGBTQIA+, and people of all genders. It's not so complicated after all.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP: $100/month or $1,200/year
Forge your own path with Or Shalom. Find your own individual awakening with the support of our unique community, made up of people of all ages, backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and interests engaging in a wide variety of Jewish practices.
DIY MEMBERSHIP: You decide what to pay
As money comes and goes, we understand your financial situation may be unstable. We welcome you to develop your own partnership level with us. Radical inclusivity is our intention across the board.
